At first I thought just hugging, but that seemed too simple..so I thought "hey, what about having ice cream and a milkshake together on a bench and talking about random stuff?"

This looks so cute! I love the facial expressions, and how naturally it looks like their sitting on the bench. I really like the details in the wood too.
I miss ice cream already. 8(

That makes me sad. :/ It indicates that you don't look at my art and think "oh that aspect is impressive" or "Hey that was a cute touch." The first things you think about are what need to be improved. While critiquing is nice, it doesn't feel too good to have NOTHING good pointed out.

To be perfectly honest, this is why I DON'T do that. For one, I don't want to be repeating the fifty other comments of praise you get on every deviation. It's hard to say things that nobody else is saying, but I do realize it is unjust of me simply to critique because I assume all the praise you get from everyone else will weigh it out.

The other thing is, I never said I wouldn't praise the picture at the same time, but because of everything that already gets said, I feel like a critiquing comment would help you out a hell of a lot more than one that is 90% praise. I'm not here to stroke your ego; you have a good 200+ devoted fans who will happily do that for me every day of the week.

But recently I've become very cautious about critiquing you at all, because I don't think you handle it well from the response you give me, and also, you made it quite clear to me when we were talking about the Blood-Sport that you are quite happy with average, and you don't want my help. That actually really put me off. You might notice that I haven't really given you any critique since that conversation up until now.

Take a little bit of medicine with all that sugar please :/
