And I'm not entirely sure if D12 would try to kill off Tex even if he ended up dying--what little was left of him..but his personality somewhat fits that possibility.

Yeah, D12 would definitly do that. And I guess that he would have a chance to survive if someone else came along, or he hitched a ride on a dead guy. (I think a PAK doesn't need the person to be alive.)
Also... You made his PAK very expressive in that panel. XD

For the Irken, yes. But I always thought they could put the PAK on someone/something else and it would carry on like normal. Except the personality would be confused. XD

Just think... If that works... You could get an Irken stuck in a chicken's body. XD
If only we knew for sure, but I'm having it so PAKs can use anything, because that can be used in a duckton of ways.
